PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Cross Country swept the team titles at the Bradley Intercollegiate for the fourth straight season as the team competed in its first of two home meets on Friday.
Caleb Lind, the 2025 men's race winner, repeated as the men's 8K race winner on Friday, taking first place with a time of 24:34.0. He finished 35 seconds ahead of second-place finisher
Oliver Burns, who was took the runner-up spot at 25:09.3.
Parker Nold,
Landon Pogue and
Michael Schmalz rounded out the top five, and Pogue's time of 25:20.8 and Schmalz's 25:25.9 were personal bests.
Zachary Balzer finished ninth,
Jaxson Copelin finished 10th and
Christian Harris placed 11th to round out the Bradley finishers.
Bradley's top-five lockout allowed it to finish with a perfect 15 points, 56 points ahead of second-place finishers Grinnell.
The women's three-mile race saw
Noelle Steines earn her first collegiate race win. Steines, who finished runner-up at the Sam Bell Invitational two weeks ago, finished with a personal-best time of 16:13.2 to finish ahead of the pack by 40 seconds. Freshman
Pauline Kleesiek was Bradley's second-highest finisher for the second straight race, placing second with a time of 16:53.6.
Rhune Vanroose and
Carissa Hamilton were the next finishers, placing third and fourth with times of 16:56.5 and 17:00.6, respectively.
Louna Schuler rounded out the scoring with a sixth-place finish.
Kaitlyn Sheppard,
Sophia Cino,
Sonja Inzinger,
Skyler Balzer and
Aubrey Smith occupied finishing positions eight through 12, while
Wiepke Schoeman rounded out the Bradley finishers in 15th.
Bradley's women also scored a perfect 15 points as a team, 66 points ahead of second-place Drake.
