A NEW ERA
On May 8,
Brad Jones was appointed as the newest head coach of Bradley Women's Tennis. Jones, who possesses over a decade of collegiate coaching experience, joined after spending last season as head coach of the University of the Ozarks tennis program. Jones spent the six seasons prior to last year as the men's & women's tennis head coach at Brevard College in North Carolina.
Four returners and three newcomers make up the 2026-27 roster. The team's lone senior is
Compassion Tsai, who enters her third season at Bradley and is coming off a season where she and
Anna Belogliadova led the team with nine wins as a pair.
Ruby Tseng enters her junior season on the Hilltop and is coming off earning her second straight First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection. Tseng won a total of 35 matches across singles and doubles, including 23 singles wins in 28 matches.
Ann Hsieh and
Amber Sharp both enter their sophomore seasons. Hsieh was second on the team in doubles wins last year with 15, while Sharp earned 12 combined wins after joining the program in January.
The returners are joined by junior transfer
Denver Johnson, sophomore transfer
Jada Iverson and incoming freshman
Erica Allan. Johnson joins after spending her last two seasons at Western Illinois, while Iverson joins after spending her freshman year at Nicholls State.

The Braves return to Normal for the Redbird Invitational on Oct. 2-4, also at the Gregory Street Tennis Courts.
