PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Women's Golf will close the month of September at Iowa's Diane Thomason Invitational in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, on Sept. 28-29.

Davenport Country Club will play as a par-71, 6,175-yard course on Monday, Sept. 28, and a 6,210-yard course on Tuesday, Sept. 29. Play begins on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., and golfers will play 36 holes. The final round will see a split-tee start on holes one and 10 beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Braves' lineup for the event will consist of:

PREVIOUSLY AT THE DIANE THOMASON INVITE
Bradley made its first trip to Iowa City in over a decade in 2025, finishing 10th in last season's Diane Thomason Invitational at Finkbine Golf Course. Caroline McConnell led all Braves, finishing tied for 13th at 227.

RECAPPING THE BADGER INVITATIONAL
Bradley placed 16th at the Badger Invitational from Sept. 13-15. Jillian Cosler was Bradley's top finisher, placing tied for 55th at 229.

TEAM NEWS & NOTES

The tournament is named for Iowa Hall of Famer Diane Thomason, who was the Head Coach of Iowa Women's Golf from 1975-2002.
- Thomason won a litany of coaching awards in her career, being named LPGA Coach of the Year in 1985 and NGCA Coach of the Year in 2002. She was also the Big Ten Coach of the Year in 1990 and 1991.
- Thomason also served as the Head Coach of Team USA at the World University Games from 1986-2012 and was inducted into the National Golf Association Hall of Fame in 1995.
This will be Bradley's first of two trips to the Quad Cities this season, as the team will return for the 2027 MVC Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
- The tournament was moved to Davenport Country Club for this season as Finkbine Golf Course -- the home course for Iowa Men's and Women's Golf -- is currently undergoing renovations.
Jillian Cosler, Alyssa Mixon and Brooke Deebs competed at last season's Diane Thomason Invitational in Iowa City.
After competing with no MVC teams at the Badger Invitational, Bradley will compete with Drake and Northern Iowa at the Diane Thomason Invitational.
If all rounds are completed, the tournament's third round will mark Jillian Cosler's 100th career round played. Cosler would become the 18th Brave all-time to play 100 career rounds.
- Cosler was teammates with the last three Braves to reach 100 career rounds played: Mara Flaherty (2023-24), Maria Perakis (2023-25) and Allison Pacocha (2023-26).
