Saturday's homecoming matchup between Bradley and Bowling Green features two teams looking to bounce back after coming up short in their Missouri Valley Conference openers. Bradley fell to UIC, 4-2, while Bowling Green finished on the wrong end of a 1-0 result against Western Michigan. The Falcons lead the brief all-time series, 3-2-0, with a 1-1 record in Peoria.

The Bradley Braves
Bradley will look to enjoy some home cooking as the Braves put their unbeaten home record on the line Saturday. Bradley has gotten off to a red-hot start offensively, currently tied for first in the MVC in goals scored with 19 and tied for second in total assists.

Mitch Coughon headlines the Bradley attack. The senior forward is tied for seventh in the nation with seven goals on the season, already equaling his total from last year. He is also ranked third nationally in shooting percentage after recording a brace against UIC in Bradley's most recent match.

The Bowling Green Falcons
BGSU is looking for its first road win of the season as the Falcons head to Shea Stadium. Bowling Green is coming off a tough 1-0 loss to Western Michigan, the MVC preseason favorite.

The Falcons will look to a trio of scorers in Lucas Brinkman, Tyson McCoy, and Caue Ramos to lead the way. Through the first portion of the season, the trio has accounted for four of BGSU's seven goals. Close results have been a theme for the Falcons this season with six of their matches being decided by a goal or less. Eric Nichols is the head coach of the BGSU program and owns a career record of 137-133-50.

The match is set for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at Shea Stadium and will be available to stream on ESPN+. Bradley supporters can also follow along on the Bradley Soccer social media accounts for live in-game updates.
