2019-20 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in four meets during her senior season • Placed 19th at the MVC Championship, helping the Braves to a runner-up finish in the Valley • Also finished among the team’s top five at Notre Dame, running the 5K course in 18:20.95.
Indoor: Scored at the MVC Championship with an eighth-place finish in the 5,000m run • Set her PR in the event with a mark of 17:31.15 at the GVSU Big Meet • Also ran the 3,000m with a season-best mark of 9:55.88 at Notre Dame.
2018-19 SEASON
Cross Country: Earned NCAA All-Midwest Region honors • Named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Team • Placed 15th at the Midwest Regional with a time of 20:56.5 – the fifth-best 6K time in school history • Finished third at the MVC Championship, recording the fifth-best 5K time in BU’s record book at 17:17.9 and helping the Braves to their second-straight conference crown • Won her first collegiate race at the Bradley Intercollegiate, posting a time of 17:02.1 on the three-mile course • Finished as the team’s top runner in four of her five meets.
Indoor: Scored in both the 3,000m and 5,000m at the Missouri Valley Championship • Placed fifth in the 3,000m run, while clocking a PR in the 5,000m at 17:36.37 to place seventh overall • Posted the seventh-best 3,000m time at Grand Valley State with a mark of 9:53.16.
Outdoor: Posted a pair of top-10 finishes at the MVC Championship, placing fourth in the 10,000m run and eighth in the 5,000m run (season-best time of 17:10.34) • Set her PR in the 10,000m run at the Raleigh Relays, posting the ninth-best time in school history at 36:22.60.
2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Did not compete during the cross country season.
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor campaign.
Outdoor: Led the Braves in the 5,000m run during the outdoor season • Clocked a PR time of 17:01.69 at the Drake Relays – the eighth-best time in school history • Placed 13th overall at the MVC Championship in the event • Also ran the 1,500m with a season-best mark of 4:38.48 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in six meets for the Braves as a sophomore, finishing among the team’s top two finishers in three of the races • Placed second overall at the Illini Classic and fourth at the Bradley Intercollegiate, while finishing ninth at Notre Dame with a career-best time of 17:33.7 on the 5K course • Crossed the finish line in 19th place at the MVC Championship as Bradley finished second as a team.
Indoor: Placed 15th at the MVC Championship in the 3,000m run with a time of 10:11.39 • Set her PR in the event earlier in the year, winning the race and setting the EIU Friday Night Special record with a time of 10:06.71 • Posted her quickest mile time of the season at Notre Dame in 5:04.21.
Outdoor: Finished 18th in the 5,000m run at the MVC Championship • Posted her PR in the event with a time of 17:17.09 at the Bryan Clay Invitational – the 11th-best mark in the school’s record book • Also ran the 1,500m during the year, posting her best time of 4:36.25 at the Illinois Twilight.
2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country: Made her debut at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing 101st with a 5K season-best time of 18:00.6 • Placed 86th at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
Indoor: Finished fourth in the 800m at the Illini Classic to start the indoor track season • Clocked a season-best mile time of 5:00.12 in the prelims at the MVC Indoor Championship and went on to finish seventh in the event • Season-best mile time ranks 11th in school history.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the outdoor track season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Won the IHSA Class 3A state title in the 1,600m as a senior • Claimed a state sectional individual title in her final season of cross country • Second at conference cross country championship as a senior • Took first in the 3,200m at the 2015 St. Charles North Sectional after winning the second of back-to-back conference titles in the same event earlier in the spring • Two-time indoor 1,600 meter conference champion • Earned all-conference and all-region honors in cross country as a senior • Qualified for the state championship in cross country each of her final two prep seasons • Two-time team MVP in cross country • Finished seventh at the state outdoor championship in the 3,200m and ninth in the 1,600m as a junior to earn all-state honors in both events • Won conference, regional and sectional titles in the 3,200m as a senior • Placed second in the state regional and sectional in the 1,600m in her final prep season • Named Streamwood High School Female Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL
The daughter of Cheryl and Tom Juarez, Gabby was born in Streamwood, Ill. • Twin brother, Miles, also attended Bradley • Earned her bachelor's degree in family and consumer science dietetics and is pursing her master's in nutrition and wellness.
