AT BRADLEY (2019-21 Spring)
•  A member of Bradley's 13-man recruiting class for the 2019 season, Olson redshirted the season and will enter the 2020 campaign with four years of eligibility remaining.
•  Although he appeared in four games during the 2021 COVID spring season, Olson will enter the 2021 fall campaign still with four years of remaining eligibility.

AT MAINE SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL
•  A 3-year varsity letterman at Maine South High School, Olson earned all-conference, all-sectional and honorable mention all-area honors as a senior in 2018 after totaling 28 points on 10 goals and eight assists.

CLUB SOCCER
•  A product of the Sockers FC club program.

"Alex Olson has significantly evolved as a strong, technically-gifted player and firmly established himself as a field general for the Maine South Hawks this season.  Normally playing outside on the wing in club ball with the Sockers as more of a support and set-up player, Alex effectively adapted into the lead role of an attacking central midfielder for the Hawks this season.  His poise and strength on the ball combines well with his excellent vision and anticipation, which allows him to consistently maintain possession and generate dangerous attacks.

Alex had a stellar senior season as a co-captain, earning Illinois State all-sectional honors, Chicagoland all-area and St. Charles and Jacksonville all-tournament honors, while also maintaining excellent academic standards and Central Suburban League Scholar-Athlete honors."

•  The son of Karl and Laura Olson, Alex was born Oct. 25, 2000 in Park Ridge, IL.
•  The youngest of three siblings - brother, Richard (25) and sister, Emily (22).
•  Richard Olson was a 5-year member of the Bradley Soccer program, graduating in 2018 after totaling 20 points on six goals and eight assists.
