AT BRADLEY (2015-19)
Ended her career second in Bradley history with 75 career singles wins and 129 combined career wins ... Made an immediate impact for the Braves as a freshman in 2015-16 by sharing the team lead with 23 singles wins … In addition to setting the Bradley record for #6 Singles wins in a season, Wijesinghe also matched the school mark for MVC Singles wins and Singles Wins by a Freshman during her rookie campaign ... Followed up her impressive debut season by sharing the team lead with 19 singles wins in 2016-17, when she posted a winning record at three different singles playing positions during the dual match season … Her seven wins at No. 3 Singles in 2017-18 tied for the fifth-best total at the position in program history … Saved her best for her senior year, when she earned All-MVC Select honors by posting a 14-4 record at No. 3 Singles and teamed with fellow senior Lindsay Haight to earn All-MVC first team at No. 3 Doubles.

Wijesinghe began playing varsity tennis at Apple Valley High School as an eighth-grader and assumed the No. 1 singles position as a freshman ... Advanced to the Minnesota 2A state tournament during each of her final two seasons ... Reached the quarterfinals of the 2014 state tournament, finishing the year with a 26-1 record ... In addition to tennis, Wijesinghe played ultimate frisbee her senior year ... The valedictorian of her high school graduating class.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Chaminda and Kathryn Wijesinghe, Malini was born March 5, 1997 in Delaware, OH ... Younger sister, Natalie … Elected to Bradley University Student Senate as Speaker of the Assembly for the 2018-19 school year, but resigned from the position due to her overall time demands … Recipient of the 2018 Bradley Athletics Carl Grose Service Award in recognition of her lengthy list of volunteer activities, including her efforts to launch the Bradley University Clean Up crew, which dedicates an hour each week to cleaning up litter throughout campus and the surrounding neighborhoods … 2018 winner of the ITA/Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Awards for both the Central Region and all of NCAA Division.
