Honorable mention MVC Scholar-Athlete … Hit .279 on the year and was second on the team with 21 walks to march her career walk total entering the season … Third on the squad with a career-best .393 on base percentage … Started 41 of the 43 games she appeared in and wrapped up her time at Bradley by starting 180 of her 188 contests as a Brave … Hit .344 with runners on base and reached to leadoff an inning 40 percent of the time … Owned a team-best .378 average with runners in scoring position … Had seven multi-hit games … Collected hits in eight of her final nine games and 13 of her final 15 contests, boasting a .349 average with 10 runs and .500 on base percentage during that closing stretch.
2017 (JUNIOR)
Started all but one game, boasting a .288 average … Hit .295 in MVC play with 8 RBI ... Had 11 multi-hit games, including four outings with three or more hits ... Hit .359 with runners in scoring position ... Fourth on the team with a .288 batting average, 16 RBI and 20 runs ... Second-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection … Hit .305 in MVC play and .288 for the year … Took over starting spot at second base midway through the year after playing in the outfield most of the first-half of the season … Third on the team with 16 RBI in conference play and hit .357 with runners on base in Valley action to go with a team-best .483 average with runners in scoring position … Tied for second on the team with 11 two-out RBI and 12 multi-hit games … Owned a .318 average with 15 runs and 18 RBI in the final 28 games of the year … Opened MVC play by going 7-for-10 with five runs and four RBI in the three-game series at Indiana State … Had a seven-game hit streak late in the year, in which she was 10-for-26 (.385) with five runs and nine RBI
2015 (FRESHMAN)
Started 36 games at shortstop after starting eight of her first nine games at first base … Made just one appearance off the bench in the first six games, before starting 44 of the final 48 games … Posted a .278 average and led the team with nine sacrifice hits … Second on the squad with six stolen bases … Had a team-best .636 average against lefties … Hit .333 with runners in scoring position … Highlighted a win at New Mexico State by collecting her first career hit in a 3-for-3 outing … Had a .298 average before MVC play started and owned a .309 average in non-conference action … Tallied nine multi-hit games.
HIGH SCHOOL
A two-time Third-Team NFCA High School All-American, Leonard helped the Hawks to back-to-back Class 6A state titles as a sophomore and junior in addition to a fourth-place state finish her freshman year … Was part of four consecutive conference and regional championship teams … Hit .456 as a senior as she captured first-team all-state and first-team all-conference honors for the third straight year … Hit over .500 her sophomore and junior seasons, which included a career-best .590 average as a sophomore with 37 runs and 30 RBI … Owned a .556 average her junior year.
