2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in four meets as a senior • Braves’ top finisher at the Bradley Invitational, posting a season-best 8K time of 26:29.2.
Indoor: Competed in the 800m and mile • Posted a season-best time of 1:56.91 in the 800m at the Gladstein Invitational with a 2018-best of 4:15.41 in the mile at the GVSU Big Meet.
Outdoor: Advanced to the finals of the 1,500m run at the MVC Championship, finishing 10th in the conference meet • Posted a season-best time in the event at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clocking in at 3:51.29 • Also set a PR in the 800m at the Musco Twilight, running in 1:55.63.
2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Did not compete during the cross country season.
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Ran the 1,500m run at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, advancing to the finals where he placed 11th overall • Clocked a personal-best time of 3:50.01 in the 1,500m run at the Bryan Clay Invitational and 1:56.44 in the 800m at the Crusader Open.
2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country: Finished 10th at the season-opening Western Illinois Early Bird • Tied for second at the Bradley Intercollegiate, posting a career-best 8K time of 25:04.1.
Indoor: Had career-best times in both the 800m and mile during the indoor season • Clocked the best 800m time at Bradley since 1991 with a career-best effort of 1:54.85 at the Gladstein Invitational for the second-best time in program history • Also clocked the third-best mile time in school history (4:08.79) at the Iowa State Classic • Part of the school record 4x800 relay team.
Outdoor: Did not run during the outdoor season.
2014-15 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in five events during the cross country season, posting career-best times at the WIU Early Bird (6K) and Bradley Intercollegiate (8K).
Indoor: Posted career-best times in both the mile and 3,000m during the indoor season • Had the fourth fastest indoor mile time in school history • Finished sixth in the mile at the MVC Indoor Championship.
Outdoor: Clocked fourth-best 1,500m time in school history during the outdoor season and went on to take sixth in the 1,500m at the MVC Outdoor Championship • Part of school record 4x1,600 relay team.
2013-14 SEASON
Cross Country: Paced the Bradley men's cross country team at the Illinois Open, placing 10th at 26:08 • Ran a season-best 8K of 26:00 at the Bradley Classic.
Outdoor: Posted season-best times of 2:00.74 in the 800m, 3:58.88 in the 1,500m, 9:52.74 in the 3,000m steeplechase and 15:05.36 in the 5,000m run.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned all-conference honors in cross country as a junior, after qualifying for the state championship • Returned to the state meet as a senior despite fracturing his tibia in May and nut being able to run until mid-September.
PERSONAL
The son of Edward and Jennifer Bianchina, Mike was born in Houston, Texas • Two brothers – Nick and Anthony • Majoring in health science.
