Celebrity Golfer:  Marcellus Sommerville

Opening Bid: $300  Minimum Raise $50

Marcellus Sommerville was a three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference performer for the Bradley men's basketball team and is wrapping up a successful rookie season overseas by playing in France's Pro Division A playoffs.  Although he played only three seasons at Bradley after transferring from Southwestern Illinois College, Sommerville currently ranks 12th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,493 career points.  The 6-foot-7 forward ranked among The Valley's top five in both scoring and rebounding during each of his three seasons and he made 153 3-pointers during his three-year Bradley career.  After leading the Braves to the 2006 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, Sommerville began his professional career last fall by signing with Atomeromu SE Paks in Hungary’s A Division.  His contract was purchased by French Pro B team Angers BC during Europe’s Christmas break and he averaged 16.3 points per game during the remainder of the French season.  He joined Chalon/Sa?ne in the LNB Pro A division for the playoffs and contributed nine points and four rebounds in his professional postseason debut May 15, a 73-62 win for his new team.
