The "glue" player for the two most successful seasons in recent Bradley men's basketball history, J.J. Tauai is preparing for his post-basketball career and you can help him celebrate his graduation by bidding for his services during the 2007 Braves Club Golf Outing. Tauai was the co-captain for both of Bradley's back-to-back 22-win campaigns and postseason participants, and the team's emergence on the national scene can be traced to his insertion into the starting lineup midway through the memorable 2005-06 season. Known primarily for his defensive work, Tauai's outburst against Providence in the first round of the 2007 MasterCard NIT also will long be remembered by Bradley Basketball fans. Matched agains the much bigger Friars, the 6-foot-3 Tauai posted his first career double-double with 17 points and a career-best 17 rebounds, leading the Braves to the thrilling, 90-78 overtime victory in his final home game at Carver Arena.
