  • Developing the general physical qualities and abilities, through proper movement patterns, which will transfer to performance and competition.
  • Training that stimulates development of the nervous system; leading to improvements in:
    • Neuromuscular coordination
    • Maximal strength
    • Relative strength
    • Hypertrophy
    • Mobility. 

Increasing the athlete's readiness to perform at a high level and reducing the risk of injury.

Functional strength is the basis of all training, movement and technique. It is the
precursor to preparing an athlete for future training sessions and competition.
