Bradley Cheerleading To Host Tryouts

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Cheerleading will host open tryouts for the 2016-17 school year this weekend at Renaissance Coliseum.  Tryouts are open to all current Bradley University students and high school seniors who have been accepted to Bradley for the 2016-17 school year.

Tryouts will be held Friday, April 29 from 7-10 p.m. at Renaissance Coliseum, Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  In addition to learning the Bradley University fight song and dance, participants will be graded on a heel stretch full down, walk-in Liberty (or bump-n-go Liberty), a stunt of choice, tumbling ability and fight song/dance motions. 

Female tryout participants should wear any red, black or white non-cheer issued shirt and shorts, white socks and cheer shoes.  Any hair bows should be white in color.  Male tryout participants should wear any red, black or white non-cheer issued shirt and shorts, with white socks and tennis shoes.

Proof of insurance and proof of a physical within the last 365 days must be submitted by all tryout participants intending to attend by 10 a.m. on Friday, April 29. Participants will also be required to sign a waiver.
