Indoor Hitting Facility

Proposed Bradley Baseball and Softball Indoor Hitting Facility

Bradley Baseball and Bradley Softball are seeking pledges to support the capital campaign for an indoor hitting facility, which would become the first Bradley-owned facility specific to baseball and softball.

Located at Shea Stadium, the 4,800-square-foot, turfed facility would provide hitting and pitching space with 3-to-4 cages, storage for pitching machines, mounds and nets, as well as on-site restrooms.  The building will be heated for winter use and vented for warmer weather, while a garage door entry will allow for ease of equipment movement to-and-from the facility.

An indoor facility in close proximity to campus with exclusive use by Bradley Baseball and Bradley Softball would create a competitive advantage for both programs, while also eliminating recurring rental expenses for the use of multiple facilities across Peoria.

This capital campaign requires $500,000 in funding before construction will begin. To make a pledge or find out how else you can get involved, please contact Brian Lavin, Bradley University Director of Athletic Development, at (309) 677-3946 or blavin@fsmail.bradley.edu.
