“I played a pretty steady round and the course was in great shape!  Some of the holes played long with the hills, but I was able to keep my ball in the fairway and two putted nearly every hole”

Her father Jim caddied for his daughter, and helped her to a second US Women’s National. Ledwein qualified in 2017.

The Woodhill course is just fifteen minutes from her home in New Prague, and was familiar with the way it plays.

As for the Old Waverly, Taylor hasn’t played the course, but the men’s team has and she has reached out to team members for advice.

First year head coach Halley Morell was ecstatic about Taylor’s performance.
“Having Taylor’s qualifying is great for our team, and a real nice springboard for our season. We are looking to her as our senior to provide great leadership for what will be a very young team”

Ledwein won the Babs Steffens Hatter Classic last season for her first collegiate Championship, led the Braves with a 75.50 stoke average, had a career matching 68 in the Golfweek Program Challenge at the Caledonia Golf  & Fish Club in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, and goes into her senior season with 13 top 10 finishes.
