2024-25 SEASON
Cross Country: Competed in four meets during the 2024 season. Ran a 5K career best at the Joe Piane Invitational, running 18:02.2 and finishing 26th in the Open Race. Earned All-MVC honors for the first time in her career at the MVC Championship, placing 10th in the 6K race with a career-best 20:39.2. Followed her strong conference championship with a time of 20:40.71 at the NCAA Midwest Regional, finishing 34th.
Indoor: Competed in three meets during the 2025 indoor season. Began the season with a first-place finish in the 3000m event at the Jimmy Grant Invite. Set her 3000m season-best at the Meyo Invitational, running 9:54.39.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the 2025 outdoor season.
2023-24 SEASON
Cross Country: Competed in three meets. Placed 19th at the MVC Championships.
Indoor: Competed in six meets during the 2024 indoor campaign. Set three career-bests during the season, beginning with a fifth-place finish in the Mile at the Hawkeye Invite, running 4:55.79. Followed with a 3000m personal best at the Larry Wieczorek Invite, clocking in at 9:42.71. Scored points in the 5000m Final at the MVC Championship, placing eighth with a time of 17:25.67.
Outdoor: Ran in five meets. Finished fifth in the 5000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running a career-best 16:39.66. Placed top five in two MVC Championship Final races, placing fourth in the 10000m Final (35:45.06) and fifth in the 5000m Final (17:10.46).
2022-23 SEASON
Cross Country: Competed in four meets during her rookie season. In the Bradley Intercollegiate, she recorded fifth place with a time of 17:35.0. She placed fifth at the Illini Open 5k event.
Indoor: Did not run during the indoor season.
Outdoor: At the Gary Wieneke Memorial, she recorded third place in the 5000m event with a 17:52.82 finish.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four letters in cross country and track at Eureka High School. Claimed the Illinois 1A State Championship in 2022 in the 3,200m run. Earned all-state accolades three times in cross country and twice in track. Helped lead the Hornets to the state cross country crown in 2018, while placing third in 2022. Posted PRs of 10:45 in the 3,200m, 5:01 in the 1,600m and 16:59 in the three-mile run.
PERSONAL
The daughter of Todd and Janelle Perry, born June 8, 2004. Has two brothers – Andrew and Adam. Father’s cousin, Craig Virgin, is a three-time Olympian in the 10,000m run, while winning the NCAA Championship for Illinois. Majoring in physical therapy.
