CAREER BESTS & RESULTS

2019-20 SEASON
Cross Country: Competed in five meets during his senior campaign • Won the individual title at the WIU Early Bird Invite, finishing the 6K course in 19:28.37 • Clocked a season-best 8K time of 26:10.6 at the Bradley Intercollegiate.
 
Indoor: Ran the mile at the Black & Gold Invitational, posting a time of 4:23.96.

2018-19 SEASON
Cross Country: Recorded a pair of top-10 finishes at the WIU Early Bird Invite and Bradley Intercollegiate • Placed third at Western Illinois with a 6K time of 19:03.5 • Followed by crossing the line in eighth at Detweiller Park with a career-best 8K time of 25:25.9 • Finished as the team’s fifth runner at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
 
Indoor: Did not run during the indoor season.
 
Outdoor: Recorded PRs in both the 1,500m and 5,000m, running the 1,500m in 4:03.06 at Indiana State and the 5,000m in 14:59.22 at Illinois.

2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Did not compete during the cross country season.
 
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
 
Outdoor: Ran the 5,000m at the MVC Championship, clocking a season-best time of 15:30.08 • Also set a PR in the 3,000m run at the Musco Twilight with a mark of 8:51.10.

2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in six events during his rookie cross country season • Finished as the top Bradley runner at the Illini Open, posting his personal-best 8K time of 26:08.8 and placing ninth overall • Also registered season-best times of 19:21.4 in a 6K at the Hawkeye Early Bird Invitational and 26:08.2 on a five-mile course at the Notre Dame Invitational.
 
Indoor: Competed in the 3,000m and 5,000m events during the indoor campaign • Ran a season-best time of 8:46.28 in the 3,000m at the EIU Friday Night Special, while posting a season-best mark of 15:13.33 at the GVSU Big Meet in the 5,000m.
 
Outdoor: Ran the 1,500m run at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic, posting a time of 4:07.54 • Clocked a time of 15:26.73 in the 5,000m run at the EIU Big Blue Classic.

2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country: Did not compete during the cross country season.
 
Indoor: Made his Bradley debut at the Illini Classic to open the indoor track campaign • Posted the 10th-best 5,000m time in school history at the Meyo Invitational.
 
Outdoor: Did not compete during the outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Finished 29th in the IHSA Class 3A state cross country championship to help the Huskies to a seventh-place team finish as a senior • Paced his squad to a ninth-place state finish his junior year with a 35th-place showing • Had top five individual finishes in conference, regional and sectionals in cross country as a senior • Won a conference title in the 1,600 meters.

The son of Anita Gschwendtner, Kerry was born in Highland Park, Ill. • Two siblings, Ellie and Tracey • Majoring in management information system.
