Transferred to Bradley for the 2012 season, but redshirted the season to focus on his transition into Bradley University's mechanical engineering program ... In his lone year of eligibility with the Braves, Birk helped Bradley to the 2013 MVC Tournament title and the second round of the NCAA Tournament ... Tied for third on the team with three goals in 2013, including the game-winner versus Missouri State (1-0) in the MVC Tournament championship game.

at Oral Roberts
A three-year letterman at Oral Roberts, Birk led the Golden Eagles in scoring during his junior season in 2011, when he netted seven goals and dished out six assists for his 20 points ... A starter against Bradley Oct. 31, 2011, Birk scored the game's final gol in the 83rd minute in a 5-2 Braves victory.

The son of Scott and Patti Birk, Aaron was born Feb. 28, 1991 ... A mechanical engineering major, Birk originally selected Oral Roberts over Akron, Cincinnati and Villanova ... Was part of business and engineering convergance senior project in 2014, analyzing the feasability of expanding the seating capacity of Bradley University's Renaissance Coliseum for the purpose of making the on-campus arena a permanent venue for the Braves men's basketball team (the project earned the Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology undergraduate Dean's Award during Bradley's 2014 Student Scholarship Expo).
