Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography HONORS AND AWARDS Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll: Fall '24 2024 | BRADLEY • In his 2024 campaign for the Braves, Koulai was a routine starter. He appeared in all 16 games for the Braves including 14 starts for a total of 1,065 minutes. Koulai found the back of the net three times (T-2nd on the team) with two of his three goals coming in the season finale against the Northern Illinois Huskies. Koulai's third goal came against the University of Kentucky in the Braves 2-2 draw with the Wildcats. Koulai also collected an assist on the season in the Braves 401 win over Western Illinois. At the seasons end, Koulai finished with 27 shots and 17 shots on goal (both lead the team) with a SOG% of 63%. DJ played 75+ minutes five times during the 2024 campaign. Summer 2024 | PEORIA CITY (USL2) • In the summer of 2024 Koulai spent the summer months with local USL2 club Peoria City. During his summer campaign Koulai helped lead Peoria City to a long playoff run through the the 2023 USL2 playoffs knocking off two #1 seeds (Des Moines Menace, Flint City Bucks) on their way to the USL2 national title game where Koulai and Peoria City came up short in extra time 3-2 to the Seacoast United Phantoms. Koulai ended his campaign with four goals in his 11 game regular season, making 10 starts. In the post season Koulai finished with two goals and two assists. 2023 | BRADLEY • It was a season of firsts for Djibongihou "DJ" Koulai, In his first match, during his first year as a division-1 college soccer player DJ recorded his first career goal and first career assist in the Braves road match at Chicago State (8/24/23). Koulai finished with a team high 26 shots and 11 shots on goal at his forward position. He would finish second on Bradley in shot on goal accuracy for those with 10+ shots (42.3%). Koulai's freshman season would end with him receiving a spot on the 2023 MVC's Men's Soccer All-Freshman Team.
