AT BRADLEY (2016-19)
• During his four-year career, Pollifrone topped his teammates with 74 games played, incuding 72 as a starter.
• Started all 18 games he played during his senior season in 2019, when he earned All-Missouri Valley Conference second-team recognition and United Soccer Coaches All-West Region third-team honors.
• One of 18 first-year and redshirt freshmen on the 2016 Bradley Soccer roster, Pollifrone (1,027 minutes) was the only Braves rookie to log at least 1,000 minutes in 2016.
• A starter in 17 of his 18 games as a freshman, Pollifrone scored his first career goal Sept. 9, 2016 versus his hometown school - Purdue Fort Wayne.
• Started all 21 games in 2017, helping the Braves to the most-improved won-loss record in the nation ... A defensive midfielder, he scored the golden goal for a 1-0 victory against Eastern Illinois Oct. 10, 2017 at Shea Stadium.
AT BISHOP DWENGER CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
• A four-year letterman at Bishop Dwenger, Pollifrone earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior in 2015 after helping the Saints to the 2015 Summit Athletic Conference title.
• Also named the 2015 SAC Player of the Year and first-team District II by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association.
• A three-time all-conference selection, Pollifrone helped his team to the 2012 sectional title and regional finals.
• Added academic all-state honors in 2014 and 2015.
CLUB SOCCER
• Playing for the Fort Wayne United FC West Heat, Pollifrone helped his club side to Indiana state championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
• Helped his team to the 2015 regional semifinals, where it dropped a 3-2 decision to the eventual national champion Chicago Magic.
PERSONAL
• The son of David and Lynne Pollifrone, John was born Nov. 17, 1997.
• The youngest of three siblings, his sister, Madeline, played soccer at Case Western Reserve.
• Majoring in criminal justice studies, Pollifrone selected Bradley over IUPUI, Case Western Reserve, Macalester and Tiffin.
