2024-2025 | Johnson County Community College
During his sophomore year in 2025, Kael Drummond helped lead Johnson County Community College to a 13-5-4 record, a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II runner-up finish, and the program’s first Region 6 Division II Championship since 2005. The Cavaliers also finished as Plains District Division II runner-up and earned a No. 15 ranking in the NJCAA Division II Poll. Drummond started all 22 matches and anchored a defense that recorded eight shutouts, led the conference, and ranked 13th nationally, while posting the second-best goals-against average in the conference (1.36). His performances earned him United Soccer Coaches Two-Year Division II All-America honors, All-Region 6 and All-Conference first-team selections, and United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America first-team recognition. He contributed offensively with two goals, including a game-winner, and one assist, playing a key role in multiple postseason victories, including the Region 6 Championship upset over No. 5 Neosho County.
As a freshman in 2024, Drummond helped JCCC to runner-up finishes in both the KJCCC Division II standings and the Region 6 Tournament, along with a No. 8 final ranking in the NJCAA Division II Poll and a 14-4-0 overall record. He appeared in 18 matches, starting six, and totaled four goals and three assists for 11 points. He was part of a defensive unit that ranked third in the conference in goals-against average (1.44) and posted four shutouts. Drummond scored his first collegiate goal in the season opener. He was also recognized for his academic excellence, earning NJCAA All-Academic third-team honors with a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.
High School | Mill Valley
A 2024 graduate of Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas, Drummond was a three-year varsity starter and a standout under coach Jason Pendleton. He earned Kansas 6A All-State first-team honors as a senior, was a two-time All-Sunflower League selection, and helped lead the Jaguars to league titles in 2021 and 2022 and the program’s first Kansas 6A state championship in 2022. He finished his high school career with nine goals and three assists as a senior after consistent production earlier in his career. Drummond also competed in elite club soccer with KC Rush and Kansas City Scott Gallagher, reaching the ECNL National Playoffs and earning ECNL first-team all-conference honors.

Born March 29, 2006, in Shawnee, Kansas, he is the son of Matt and Casse Drummond, and his mother was a collegiate volleyball player at Pittsburg State University.
