Appeared in three games for the Braves as a true freshman in 2016, then redshirted the 2017 season ... Enters the 2018 campaign with three years of eligibility remaining.

HIGH SCHOOL
After moving to California from Okinawa, Heckerman attended La Costa Canyon High School in his final two years, but did not play soccer at the San Diego area school ... While living in Okinawa as a freshman and sophomore, Heckerman attended Kadena High School and excelled for the Panthers ... A two-year varsity letterman, Heckerman helped Kadena to the 2014 DoDEA-Pacific Far East championship and he was named to the DoDEA-Pacific Far East Championship all-tournament Team in each of his two prep seasons.

CLUB SOCCER
Upon his move to Southern California, Heckerman played club soccer with San Diego Surf SC as a member of the U17/18 Academy team ... While in Japan, Heckerman played for the Diplomats Youth Futbol Club from 2007-14 and earned the Manchester United Soccer Schools Jonny Evans Award in 2013.
