Balle's three goals in 2010 equalled the most among the newcomers and he was second among the rookies with eight points ... Contributed points in both of Bradley's 2011 NCAA Tournament games, scoring the game-winning goal in the tourney opener against Loyola-Chicago and adding an assist in the second round at Louisville ... Boasts the touch to serve balls and the athletic ability to finish in the air ... His first career goal Oct. 1 versus IPFW was the game-winner in the 94th minute ... Added a game-tying goal in an eventual 3-2 win against #12 Creighton in the semifinals of the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament ... Four of his seven goals during the 2012 season have been off of penalty kicks, which is tied for the Bradley record for most PK's converted in one season ... Balle is now Bradley's active career leader in total points (33), goals (12), game-winning goals (4), shots (82), scoring percentage (.146), and shots on goal (36).

After transferring from Lincoln Way Central High School, Balle led Neuqua Valley High School to an undefeated regular season in 2009, a final 28-1 record and Upstate Eight Conference and regional championships ... Named his team's defensive most valuable player and was an offensive contributor by scoring 17 points on three goals and 11 assists ... Balle also was named all-conference, all-sectional and all-state, as well as earning second-team Chicago Fire Academic All-State honors in 2009.
 
Club Soccer
Balle played club soccer for the Chicago Fire Academy and his team participated in a 10-day training session in Mexico during the winter of his senior high school season ... While previously playing for the Chicago Fire Juniors, Balle helped his U15 club team to an Illinois State Cup championship, a Midwest regional title and a third-place finish in the US Youth Soccer National Championship.
