After redshirting as a true freshman in 2014, Perry has steadily increased his playing time the last two seasons ... Has appeared in 21 games the last two seasons, playing primarily as a reserve forward ... His seven career points have come in two games - a goal and an assist Sept. 9, 2016 versus Fort Wayne and two goals Sept. 6, 2017 versus Aurora.

Perry earned first-team all-conference honors in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference as a senior in 2013, when he also was named a Top Team Player by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association and a Indiana North All-Star ... Played club soccer in Indiana for the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association ... Originally from Illinois, Perry was a member of the ’95 Illinois Olympic Development Team.

The son of George Perry III and Ellen Perry, Matt comes from a soccer-playing family: siblings George (Kenyon College) and Laura (Elmhurst College) both played collegiately, and his father, George Perry III, played and coached at Indiana ... More recently, George Perry III coached locally at Monmouth College and currently serves as Commissioner of the Indiana Soccer League.
