Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography AWARDS AND HONORS 2023 All-MAAC Academic Team 2025 Spring | South Carolina Was rostered by South Carolina for the 2025 spring season. 2022-24 | Canisius Since joining the Golden Griffins in 2022, Switala was a consistent presence in the lineup and a key contributor on both ends of the field over the course of his three seasons with the Golden Griffins program. In the 2024 season, Switala started all 16 matches, recording a career-best 10 points on four goals and two assists. He attempted 28 shots, placing 12 on target, and delivered one of the season’s top performances with two goals in a win over Central Connecticut State on September 2. He also found the net against Saint Francis and Saint Peter’s, and assisted goals in back-to-back games versus Siena and Mount St. Mary’s in October. His efforts on and off the field earned him a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second consecutive year. Switala’s 2023 campaign was equally impressive. He was one of only two players to appear in all 18 matches, he made 16 starts and logged 1,326 minutes—the second most on the team. He finished with four goals and one assist, with standout games including a two-goal performance against Central Connecticut State and an assist in a draw versus Quinnipiac. As a freshman in 2022, Switala appeared in 13 games with six starts, with four shots on goal and a steady presence in midfield. Before college, he developed at FC United Academy under coach Steve Morris, spending seven years honing his game in a competitive environment. He is the son of Tom and Ante Switala and has one sister, Victoria. Athletic talent runs in the family as his father played professional soccer in Poland.
