Andrews got an early look in Bradley’s back line during his freshman season, but eventually gave way to his veteran teammates once the league portion of the season kicked in ... In his first career start, Bradley earned a 1-0 shutout victory against Oregon State Sept. 11, 2004.

 

Prep Overview

A center back at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Andrews earned NSCAA/adidas honorable mention All-American honors as a senior in 2003 ... Led his team to a 19-1-1 record in 2003, capped by the Kansas Class 6A state championship and a final #8 NSCAA/adidas national ranking ... In addition to earning first-team All-Midwest honors as a senior, Andrews was a two-time all-state and All-Metro pick, a three-time all-league selection and the 2002 Eastern Kansas League Defensive Player of the Year.

 

Club Soccer

A marking back for the Galyan’s Kansas City Attack, Andrews helped his club team to Kansas State Cup titles in 2000, 2001 and 2003, as well as the Kansas Premier League championships in the same seasons ... His 2003 club team earned a final #14 position in the U.S. Club Soccer national rankings ... Also played for the Kansas State Select Team in the Olympic Development Program from 1999 to 2003 and helped his team capture the 2003 United States Youth Soccer Association Midwest Region II ODP Tournament championship.

The son of Paul and Paulette Andrews, Oran was born July 25, 1985 ... Majoring in business management and administration, Andrews earned a spot on the Bradley Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2004 Fall semester.
