After turning in a solid freshman season in 2005, during which he scored three goals, injuries slowed Johnson during his sophomore season in 2006 ... Missed the entire month of September last season with a broken foot and played as many as 30 minutes just once after returning to action Oct. 14 versus Oral Roberts.

The all-time leading scorer in Morton High School soccer history, Johnson racked up 72 goals during his prep career, including a school single-season record 37 goals as a senior in 2003 ... A two-year team captain, Johnson also collected all-conference, all-sectional and Peoria Journal Star all-area honors after both his junior and senior seasons ... Helped the Potters to a 16-6-1 record and the regional championship as a senior ... In addition to his soccer participation, Johnson also was a starter on the Morton boys basketball team ... Often drew his team’s toughest defensive assignments, including Peoria Central star and 2004 NBA Lottery pick Shaun Livingston (Los Angeles Clippers).

Joined Bradley teammates Chris Cutshaw, Mike Haynes, Nick Mentgen and Brad Snook this summer with the Sioux Falls SpitFire, registering one assist in his four games.
