After playing his freshman season at Cedarville (Ohio) University, Brust transferred to Bradley and made the team following a tryout ... Appeared in seven games as a forward in 2004, then redshirted the 2005 season due to a hip injury ... Upon returning to the lineup last fall, Brust moved to a defensive position, playing in all 20 games with 19 starts ... Converted a penalty kick for the game’s only goal in Bradley’s 1-0 win versus Valley rival Eastern Illinois Oct. 11, 2006 at Shea Stadium.

Brust was the second-leading scorer for the Yellow Jackets as a freshman in 2003, averaging 1.0 point per game by contributing nine goals and six assists in 24 games ... Helped Cedarville to a 15-7-2 record in 2003.
Prep Overview
