HONORS AND AWARDS
AD Honor Roll: Fall '24

2025 | Sophomore
Played in 55 games and started all. In 10 at bats, she earned a .300 average. In the field, Shafer had a .924 fielding percentage. 

2024 | Freshman
Appeared in 52 games and started 49 mostly in Left Field. She recorded 8 runs and a .955 fielding percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL
Schafer was a 2023 graduate of Blue Valley North High School. She earned varsity letters in all four years of high school (2019-2023). In her time at Blue Valley North she earned 1st Team all EKL Utility (2021-2023), All state honorable mention (2022) in Softball. Ella also participated in Track, and Volleyball where she became a Track Regional Champion 2021-(200, 4x1, 4x4) 2022- (triple jump, long jump, 4x1) 2023- (4x1, 4x4, triple jump-4th), Track- 4x100 6th at state (2022) and she also helped set school records in the 4x100 and was apart of Blue Valley North’s 3rd place finish in State Volleyball. Outside of athletics, Ella participated in Latin Club and her school’s newspaper.

PERSONAL
Daughter of John and Lisa Shafer, born September 29th, 2004 in Des Moines, IA. Ella is the youngest of three siblings, Lauren and Drew.
