2017 (FRESHMAN) 
Second on the team with 15 starts, she made 27 appearances in the circle and finished the year with a 3-8 record and 4.69 ERA … Six of her starts came in Valley play … Started the season opener against Northern Colorado, fanning a season-high three batters … Earned her first career victory later on against that same Northern Colorado team … Picked up a win against Delaware, holding the Blue Hens to two hits over five innings … Also earned a win out of the bullpen at Southern Utah. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time all-state performer … Also earned all-conference and all-county honors each of her last two seasons … Three-time conference tournament MVP … Earned county pitcher of the year honors as a senior … Was 15-4 with a 1.06 ERA as a senior after posting a 16-4 record and 0.50 ERA as a junior … At the plate, she hit .486 with 22 RBI her junior year … Part of a 1A state championship as a freshman … Helped the Blackhawks to a four consecutive conference tournament titles and back-to-back regular-season conference titles … Also earned all-state honors in track, finishing sixth in the state in the shot put as a junior.

PERSONAL 
The daughter of Tina & George Visnic, Emily was born in Wilesboro, N.C. … Has a younger sibling: Charity.
