2010 Season (Senior): Second-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference ... One of 30 national candidates for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award ... Tied for second on the team in batting average (.295) ... One of five players in school history to lead the team in batting average in back-to-back years ... Ranked third on the team in runs (19), RBI (14) and on base percentage (.355) ... Tied for second in hits (38) and was second on the team with 11 stolen bases ... Hit .313 in conference play ... Owned a .339 batting average with runners on base and drove in a career-best 14 runs ... Had a team-best eight-game hit streak midway through the season ... Finished her career fifth in school history with 36 career stolen bases and is tied for sixth with 24 career sacrifice hits.

2009 Season (Junior): The catalyst for Bradley offensively during the Braves' late season run, she led the team with a .293 batting average and 13 stolen bases ... Earned honorable mention MVC Scholar-Athlete honors and was selected as the MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week ... Also led the team in hits (39) and runs (22), while ranking second in sacrifice hits (9) and on base percentage (.365) ... Started all but one game in left field and was one of three players to see action in all 54 contests ... Named MVC Player of the Week after going 9-for-13 (.692) with seven runs scored, one RBI, three doubles and one triple in the final week of the regular season ... Her 13 stolen bases were the most by a Bradley player since 2004 ... Owned a team-best .348 batting average with runners on base and drove in five of her seven RBI with two outs ... Tied for team-high honors with nine multi-hit games, including a four-hit game and boasted a seven-game hit streak ... Bradley was 12-5 when she hit second in the lineup ... Hit .362 with three doubles, one triple and 12 runs scored in her 17 games at the #2 spot in the batting order ... Also hit .345 with four runs scored in 13 games at the #9 spot in the lineup ... Boasted a .362 batting average and .466 slugging percentage in conference play ... Finished the season strong, going 13-for-26 with nine runs, three doubles, one triple, one RBI and three walks in the nine games heading into the NCAA Tournament.

2008 Season (Sophomore): Led the team with a .283 batting average and was second on the squad in outfield starts ... Tied for the team lead with six sacrifice bunts and was second with 15 runs scored ... Also tied for second with six doubles and legged out the team's only triple of the season ... Swiped a team-best five bases and was one of two players on the roster with 30 chances or more in the field without an error ... Had six of her seven extra-base hits in Missouri Valley Conference play, turning in a team-high five doubles in Valley action ... Opened the season on a tear, reaching base safely in each of the first 10 games she appeared in ... Hit .344 (11-for-32) with three doubles, 10 runs scored, four RBI and four stolen bases during that opening stretch ... Went 4-for-4 with a double, triple and two runs driven in against Evansville ... Closed the season with a bang, hitting safely in four of the last five games as she went 8-for-17 with two doubles, a triple and a stolen base.

2007 Season (Freshman): Appeared in 27 games, making 21 starts ... Hit .230 in 61 at bats with a double, two triples, two homers, and eight RBI ... Stole seven bases in eight attempts ... Perfect in 12 defensive chances ... Tripled in her first career at bat in a 2-for-2 performance against Wisconsin-Green Bay on Feb. 17 ... Went 3-for-5 with three RBI, a triple, and a run scored on March 11 against Belmont ... Homered twice, drove in four runs, and scored four times in a 3-for-6 effort in a pair of games against Indiana State on April 28 & 29.

High School: An all-state selection as a senior, Janay holds school records for stolen bases in a season (29) and career mark for triples (9) ... Earned all-conference honors three times ... Holds the school record for runs scored in a season ... Hit .440 as a senior ... Helped the Mustangs to a 120-31 (.795) record in her four seasons, including three conference championships ... Led her team to a school-record 37 victories (37-3 record) and a second place finish in the IHSA Class AA state tournament in 2006 ... Garnered all-area honors as a junior, hitting .326 to go along with 40 runs and 10 RBI ... Was named MVP of the Super 60 Illinois All-Star Game ... High school teammate of fellow junior Lauren Meister ... Also earned two letters in basketball.

Personal: The daughter of Judson and Susan Mitchell, Janay was born in Chicago, Ill. ... Her father Judson is a Bradley graduate and a member of Bradley's Board of Trustees ... Named to the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll in each of her first seven semesters at BU.
