Overview: Returns as the starting first baseman and will likely be one of the best offensive threats in the middle of the lineup ... May also see time as designated player ... Is the active career leader in home runs (13) ... Needs four home runs to break the all-time Bradley home run record.

2007 Season (Junior): Started 48 games at first base, hitting .220 with five doubles ... Led the Braves with five home runs and 19 RBI ... Recorded a .981 fielding percentage with a team-high 300 putouts ... Led the team with a .389 batting average (7-for-18) against left-handed pitching ... Had seven multi-hit games ... Went 3-for-3 with two RBI in a Feb. 17 victory over Western Illinois ... Was 3-for-6 with three runs scored and two RBI in a pair of victories over IUPUI Feb. 24 & 25 ... Had five hits with seven RBI, three runs scored, two home runs, and a double in a three-game sweep of Drake March 31 & April 1 ... Collected three hits in a doubleheader April 17 against Northern Iowa ... Homered against Eastern Illinois April 19 ... Turned in a 2-for-3 effort with an RBI May 5 at Creighton.

2006 Season (Sophomore): Started 43 of the 44 games she played in and led the team in home runs with seven ... Her seven homers is tied for the third best season total in school history ... Hit .232 on the season with three doubles, 10 runs and 16 RBI ... Also boasted a .989 fielding percentage, committing just three errors in almost 300 chances ... Was better in Missouri Valley Conference play, hitting .284 with two doubles and three homers ... Started out the season strong, earning all-tournament honors at the Bradley Invitational after hitting .364 (4-for-11) with a homer, one run scored and three RBI ... Hit a rough spot following the Bradley Invite, going 1-for-28 over the next 11 games, but ended the season on a high note, hitting safely in 16 of her final 23 games ... Boasted a .290 batting average (20-for-69) during that stretch with three home runs, a double and nine RBI ... Hit a pair of home runs in a doubleheader against Illinois State ... Had a six-game hit streak late in the season, helping the Braves to a 5-1 mark during that time.

2005 Season (Freshman): Used sparingly in the beginning, she played in just four of the first 16 games, but made the most of her opportunities later in the season, hitting .361 in the final 23 games she appeared in ... Played in a total of 29 games and started 10 contests at designated player ... Hit .341 with two doubles and one home run and had a team-best .426 on base percentage ... Collected her first career hit with a pinch hit RBI-single against IUPUI ... Went 2-for-3 with a double and solo home run against Indiana State ... Had a team-high seven pinch hits and hit .412 when used as a pinch hitter (7-for-17).

High School: A two-time all-conference selection, she helped the Titans to a 56-1 record in conference play during her prep career ... Glenwood won four consecutive conference and regional titles during her time at the school ... An all-state selection by the Illinois Coaches Association as a sophomore she hit .420 with 10 doubles and three home runs that season ... As a senior, she hit .315 with five home runs and 30 RBI ... Glenwood won two sectional championships during her tenure and she was awarded the team’s Silver Slugger award (offensive MVP) as a sophomore ... She played summer ball for the Mattoon Pride, where her team won the NSA Super World Series 18 and under national championship.

Personal: The daughter of Toni and John Musgrove, Jessie was born Jan. 8, 1986 in Springfield, Ill. ... The youngest of two children, she has an older brother, Will (28) ... Majoring in advertising ... Earned a perfect 4.0 semester GPA in the Fall of 2004 and has been named to the Bradley Athletic Director’s Honor Roll five of her seven semesters at Bradley ... Jessie is the cousin of former Bradley Volleyball standout Samantha Hardwick (2001-02 Watonga Award Winner as BU’s top student-athlete).
