2010 Season (Senior): A transfer from Parkland Community College, she was a two-year starter at second base ... Started 70 games in her two years at second and 86 games overall ... Missed the entire fall season due to injury, but returned in the spring to play 46 of 49 games, with 43 starts to her credit ... Drove in a career-best five runs ... One of the team's top defensive players.
2009 Season (Junior): Started 43 of the 47 games she played in and was fifth on the team with a .235 batting average ... Hit .318 against left-handed pitchers ... Collected six multi-hit games and boasted a six-game hit streak ... Made 40 starts at second base, helping BU to a 23-17 record in those contests ... The Braves were 15-7 when Watkins hit leadoff ... Hit .286 in Missouri Valley Conference play with six runs scored ... Led off the eighth inning of Bradley's 3-2 win against Missouri State in the first round of the MVC Tournament with a single and came around to score on Jacqueline Vitale's one-out single ... Went 5-for-10 with one run scored in the series against Wichita State ... Was 7-for-17 with three runs scored during a five-game stretch which included the last four games of the regular season ... Recorded the final out of the MVC Championship game against Creighton.
2007-08 Parkland Community College: Helped Parkland to a 77-35 (.688) record, including a 45-17 mark as a freshman and sixth place national finish ... Earned All-Region honors as a sophomore after hitting .328 and owning a .474 on base percentage ... Named the team's MVP and the Freshman of the Year in 2007 when she hit .479 with a .610 on base percentage ... Scored 51 runs and collected 16 doubles and seven triples.
High School: The 2006 Peoria Journal Star Player of the Year, Watkins helped Olympia to a 140-15 (.903) record in her four years ... She hit .439 with 51 runs and nine doubles while driving in six runs as a senior ... Posted a 14-1 record with a 0.55 ERA in the circle in her final prep season ... Finished her high school career with a .402 batting average and ranked 27th on the IHSA career hits list with 182 ... Owned a 48-5 record with a 0.83 ERA in nearly 400 career innings in the circle.
