Fabia McDonald

Fabia McDonald is in her fourth year with the Bradley athletic department and her first as Assistant Athletic Director for Finance and Business Operations. In her role, McDonald oversees all financial activity of the department and the school’s 15 Division I athletic programs.
 
Prior to her promotion in July 2022, McDonald spent three seasons as associate track and field coach, working with the team’s sprinters and jumpers. She mentored a number of student-athletes to historic accolades, highlighted by the Braves claiming their first ever 4x400 relay title at the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championship in addition to two all-conference performers – BU’s first All-MVC sprinters in 31 years.
 
Before arriving on The Hilltop, McDonald spent three years as a financial accountant with her duties including budgeting, cash and bank reconciliations, variable assets and financial statement preparation.
 
A three-time NCAA Division I All-American, McDonald was a member of the Ole Miss track and field team from 2010 to 2015. The 2011 SEC Freshman Field Athlete of the Year, McDonald collected second-team All-America accolades in the pentathlon (2012) and heptathlon (2015), while also receiving honorable mention honors in the heptathlon in 2012.
 
A native of Chicago, McDonald was also an assistant coach at Heidelberg University from 2017 to 2019, while spending one year as a volunteer assistant at her alma mater in 2014-15.
 
McDonald earned bachelor’s degrees in business and social work from the University of Mississippi in 2015 with minors in psychology and sociology. She also completed her master’s in business administration from Heidelberg in 2019.
 
McDonald lives in Peoria with her two fur babies, Jax and Chance.
