2014-15 (Senior): Did not run during the 2014 cross country campaign … Posted career-best times in the 60 meters and 400 meters during the indoor season … Ran in the 60 meters and 200 meters at the MVC Indoor Championship … Clocked a career-best 100 meter time at the MVC Outdoor Championship. 

2013-14 (Junior): Ran in the Bradley Intercollegiate to open the cross country season … Only other action of the year was at the EIU Big Blue Classic during the outdoor season.

2012-13 (Sophomore): Made her only appearance of the cross country season at the Bradley Open ... Clocked career-best times in the 60 meter dash, 200 meters and 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season ... Also competed in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 100 meter hurdles during the outdoor season.

2011-12 (Freshman): Finished the season-opening Bradley Open with a time of 25:53 in her only race of the year ... Capped the year with season-best performances in both the 200 meters and the 100-meter hurdles at the MVC Outdoor Championship ... Her indoor 60 meter and 200 meter times were second on the team ... Owned the top 200 meter and 100-meter hurdle times on the squad during the outdoor season.

High School: Three-time letterwinner in track ... Voted her team's most outstanding athlete and most improved ... State qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter low hurdles ... Was a team captain.

Personal: The daughter of Edward and Michelle Markech, Dana was born in Arlington Heights, Ill. ... Has two sisters: Nicole and Kristen ... Plans to major in nursing.
