Began the season with a fourth-place finish in the 300m event at the Cougar Alumni Open, clocking a time of 40.32 seconds for the third-fastest time in program history. Placed sixth in the 400m at the Larry Wieczorek Invite with a time of 58.56 seconds. Set a new 200m personal best at the Iowa State Classic, finishing fifth with a time of 25.34 seconds. Recorded a new 400m personal best in the prelims at the MVC Championship, setting the program's sixth-fastest time at 56.92 seconds. Earned her first conference title as a member of the three-peating Distance Medley Relay team, running the second leg. Earned all-conference honors in the 4x400m Relay for the second straight season, running the second leg for a squad that also set the program's second-fastest time at 3:47.05 and finished third. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets during the 2026 outdoor season. Finished third in her only non-400m Hurdles event of the season, running a time of 25.40 seconds in the 200m at the Saint Louis Speed & Power Festival. Steadily lowered the 400m Hurdles program record to 1:01.09, 1:00.73 and 1:00.56 over a three-week period at the Bryan Clay Invite, Drake Relays and Wieneke Memorial. Qualified for the 400m Hurdles Final at the MVC Championship, where she finished fourth with a time of 1:01.45. Owns the top 12 400m Hurdles performances in the history of Bradley Track & Field. 2024-25 SEASON Indoor: Competed in six meets during the 2025 indoor season. Made her collegiate debut at the Hawkeye Invite, finishing seventh in the 400m race at 59.71. Won the Early Section of the 400m event at the GVSU Big Meet with a 58.53. Holds three top ten times in program history, holding the sixth-fastest 400m time (57.96), eighth-fastest 200m time (25.86) and 10th-fastest 60m Hurdle time (9.31). Ran the second leg in two of the top five 4x400m Relay teams in program history, including the program-record-setting 3:45.42 at the MVC Championship. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets during the 2025 outdoor season. Placed in the top 10 in each of her first five 400m Hurdles events of the outdoor season. Broke the 40-year-old 400m Hurdles program record at the EIU Big Blue Classic, running a 1:02.42. Ultimately broke the record two more times during the season, setting the mark at 1:02.16 at the Fighting Illini Twilight. Qualified for the 400m Hurdles Final at the MVC Championship, where she finished eighth. HIGH SCHOOL First place in Andalusia's U18 championship in the 60 hurdles and 400 hurdles in 2023, 4th place in Spain's U18 championship in the 400 hurdles in 2023, and 7th place in Spain's U18 championship in 60 hurdles in 2023. Her team placed second place of Spain's team championship U20 indoor and outdoor in 2023, and participated in the Honors Division League with the team in the 400 hurdles where they placed 7th of Spain in 2023. PERSONAL The daughter of Jose Mauricio de Palma and Maria Jesus Mendiguchia, born on March 10, 2006. Has two siblings: Mauro (21) and Jesus (15). Plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. Enjoys reading, painting, playing the piano, watching movies and series and listening to music.
