2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in five meets as a senior, finishing as the Braves’ top finisher twice • Led BU with an 11th-place finish at the season-opening Walt Crawford Open, while placing a team-best fifth at the Bradley Invitational.
 
Indoor: Set season-best times at 5:28.88 in the mile, 10:56.47 in the 3,000m and 19:01.20 in the 5,000m.
 
Outdoor: Ran in the 1,500m, 3,000m and 5,000m during the campaign, setting season-best times of 5:07.23, 11:14.91 and 19:09.08.

2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in seven meets during the campaign, posting two top-five finishes • Won the Bradley Invitational, while placing fifth at the Illini Open • Posted her career-best 5K time at the Illini Open with a mark of 18:38.8 • Ran for the Braves at the NCAA Midwest Regional, finishing the 6K course in 22:59.1.
 
Indoor: Posted PRs in the 3,000m at the ONU Invitational (10:31.45) and in the 5,000m at the GVSU Big Meet (18:26.91) • Ran in the 3,000m run at the MVC Championship.
 
Outdoor: Ran the 1,500m and 5,000m events during the outdoor season • Set a PR in the 5,000m at the Crusader Open, crossing the finish line in 18:18.40 • Posted a season-best time of 4:54.09 in the 1,500m at Illinois State.

2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country: Opened the cross country season with an eighth-place finish at the Western Illinois Early Bird to help the Braves to the team title • Also finished eighth at the Bradley Invitational • After posting a career-best 6K time at the Bradley Classic, she capped the fall with a career-best 5K at the Illini Open.
 
Indoor: Won the 5,000m title at the EIU Friday Night Special in her only outing of that distance during the indoor season.
 
Outdoor: Placed fifth in the 5,000m with season-best time of 18:30.77 at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic to open outdoor season • Also ran in the 1,500m during the outdoor season, posting a career-best time at the Illinois Twilight.

2014-15 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in three meets during the fall, posting a season-best 6K time of 23:45.0 at the Bradley Classic.
 
Indoor: Focused on the mile during the indoor track season, in addition to competing in the 800m and 3,000m.
 
Outdoor: Posted a season-best 5,000m time of 18:35.70 at the Redbird Invite during the outdoor season and ran in the same event at the MVC Outdoor Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL
Part of a three-time state qualifying team at Lake Park High School and qualified for state as an individual once • Two-time all-conference performer • Placed 30th in the state as a senior after qualifying as an individual • Named team MVP following her senior season • Owns fifth-best three-mile time in school history • Helped the Lancers to a second-place state finish as a junior and back-to-back conference titles her sophomore and junior years • Also lettered in track

The daughter of Frank and Jamie Alfano, Nicole was born in Elmhurst, Ill. • Two older siblings, Frank and Nina • Majoring in marketing.
