BRADLEY (2022-23)

• Appeared in 31 games while starting in 30 for the Braves in 2022. 
• Averaged 7.0 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 0.9 ASP.
• Powell played a career high 39 minutes against Kansas City on Nov. 29th
• Against McNeese State on Nov. 19th Powell collected a season high 11 rebounds, finishing just one off her career high of 12 which came last season against Ill-Springfield.


BRADLEY (2021-22)

•  Earned the start in her Bradley debut and made the most of the opportunity with 18 points and six rebounds
Nov. 9, 2021 versus Wright State.
•  Had totaled just nine points and 10 rebounds in the next four games, before turning in another outburst Dec. 4 at North Dakota State with 17 points and a career-best seven rebounds.
•  Posted her first career double-double Dec. 19, 2021 versus UIS with 17 points and a career-best 12 rebounds.
•  Powell started each of Bradley’s first 13 games in 2021-22, but played just 66 reserve minutes in the team’s next nine games and sat out the remainder of the season (six games) due to injury.
 

TEXAS TECH (2020-21)
•  Appeared in 19 contests and shot 63 percent from the field while averaging six minutes per game as a true freshman.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
•  Region Player of the Year.
•  County Defensive Player of the Year as a junior.
•  Earned Class 4A All-State honors.
•  Ranked the No. 13 power forward in the 2019-20 high school senior class by ESPN.
•  Averaged 16.8 points, 10 rebounds and two steals per game as a junior.
•  Helped Sandy Creek to three straight regional titles, along with a state semifinal appearance as a freshman and state quarterfinal showing her junior year.

PERSONAL
•  The daughter of Derick and Rose Powell, Daija was Nov. 29, 2001 in Atlanta, Ga.
•  One of three siblings.
•  Both of her parents played basketball at North Carolina A&T, and her sister, Dariah, played volleyball at Valdosta State.
