The younger sister of former Bradley Men’s Basketball standout Lawrence Wright, Jasmin is an athletic forward that can play both inside and outside ... One of four junior college transfers on the roster, she has two years of eligbility remaining after transferring from Yuba College ... Is just the second player in program history to call the state of California home, joinig Audrey DeClue.

“Jasmin is a tremendous athlete.  She is able to put the ball on the floor and drive, but also has the ability to step out and shoot from long range, making her a threat from anywhere on the floor.  A very unselfish player, she will also play a key role for us on the glass.”

Earned first-team All-Bay Valley Conference honors in her only season of competition, leading the league in scoring at 20 points per game ... Hauled down eight rebounds per game and also averaged 1.5 blocked shots per contest ... Broke the school record for three-pointers in a game with seven and a season with 74 ... Scored 30 or more points three times in 2005-06.

 

Cal State Stanislaus

Started two of the 26 games she played in as a freshman, averaging 5.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game ... Averaged 21.2 minutes per game and shot nearly 35 percent from three-point range, connecting on 16-of-46 trey’s.

 

High School

A three-sport letterwinner at Wheatland High School, she averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots per game as a senior ... Earned conference MVP honors in her final prep season and was a two-time First-Team All-Area selection ... Ran track for her mother Denise, where she qualified for the state championship as a junior and senior in the long jump, triple jump and the 100 meter hurdles ... Helped the Pirates to conference championships all four seasons in track ... Also earned three letters in volleyball and one in cross country at Wheatland.

The daughter of Lawrence and Denise Wright, Jasmin was born Sept. 2, 1986 in Wichita, Kan. ... Majoring in psychology ... Has two older brothers; Lance (25) and Lawrence (22) ... Her brother Lawrence was a two-year member of the Bradley Men’s Basketball team, helping the Braves advance to the Sweet Sixteen in 2005-06 and is now a member of the Harlem Globetrotters ... Lance was four-year letterwinner on the basketball team at Eastern Illinois ... Her father Lawrence Wright St., is a master sergeant in the United State Air Force.
