Overview
A four-year letterwinner on the basketball team, Niemiera joined the women's golf team following the completion of the 2011-12 basketball season ... Is the first two-sport athlete at Bradley since Jenny Van Kirk played basketball and golf during the 2006-07 school year ... Was named the Slane College of Communications & Fine Arts Intern of the Year after helping raise $10,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure through a golf outing she established in her hometown during the summer of 2011 ... Also interned with the Chicago Bears during the 2011 training camp. 

2011-12 (Senior)
Honorable mention MVC scholar-athlete ... Came away with a career-best three steals to go along with two assists in the season-opening victory against Northern Colorado ... Scored a season-best seven points in the win against Western Illinois, making 3-of-3 from the field ... Had a season-high four rebounds and tied a season-best with two assists off the bench against Southern Illinois (Feb. 4). 

2010-11 (Junior)
Had five starts to her credit  ... Averaged nearly 15 minutes per game and her scoring average nearly doubled from the previous year ... Made her first start of the season against Illinois, playing a then career-high 30 minutes and finishing with a season-high seven points and five rebounds ... Started five consecutive games, averaging 8.4 points per game during that time ... Scored a season-best 11 points against William & Mary, making a career-high six free throws ... Came off the bench to play point guard against Northern Illinois in place of injured starter Hanna Muegge and had six points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in the win ... Named Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 15. 

2009-10 (Sophomore)
Started more games (9), than she appeared in as a freshman ... Played just 50 minutes in 2008-09 as a freshman, but started the first nine games and averaged 11.4 minutes per game ... Missed two games due to an ankle injury suffered in practice following Christmas break ... Returned to the floor against Wichita State, playing 19 minutes off the bench and has come off the bench in 10 of the last 11 games  ... Made her first career start in the season opener at Northern Illinois and finished with two points, two rebounds and one assist ... Had three points and career-highs of seven rebounds and four assists in Bradley's win at UNLV ... Scored a season-high seven points against Arkansas-Little Rock ... Matched her season-best with seven points at Northern Colorado.

2008-09 (Freshman)
Did not appear in the first three games of the season, but made a big impact in her debut where she finished with 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting and also had two rebounds and two assists in the Braves 77-62 win against Northern Illinois ... Scored seven consecutive points midway through the second half of the win against the Huskies ... Appeared in eight games, including two Missouri Valley Conference games.

High School
Averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game as a senior ... Helped the RedHawks to a 25-10 record and fourth-place finish in the IHSA Class 4A state tournament ... Named the Southtown Star Player of the Year ... Selected as a fourth-team all-state performer by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association ... Earned all-tournament honors at the Hillcrest Holiday Classic ... Also played golf at Marist, where she advanced to sectionals her junior and senior seasons ... Missed qualifying for the state tournament by one stroke as a senior.
