Emerged as a starter down the stretch, appearing in the starting five in the last seven games and 11 of the last 18 contests … Finished the year averaging 5.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game, but increased those numbers to 5.8 points, 4.4 boards, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals in Valley play … Averaged 6.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game over the last 21 outings, including 8.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 1.8 apg while shooting 59 percent from the field over the last six ... In the MVC Tournament, averaged 12.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in the two games, while making 12-of-16 shots … Scored in double figures nine times ... The daughter of Keisha White and Albert White, Jr., Nyjah was born in Livonia, Mich. ... Has two siblings: Nyjel and Averi ... Majoring in graphic design ... Product of Hickman High School in Columbia, Mo., which also produced 2004-05 First-Team All-MVC player Dena Williams ... Her father Albert, who was a McDonald’s All-American in high school, played professional for several seasons and was part of championship teams in the USBL, CBA and LPB after earning All-Big 12 honors at Missouri.
