Former Bradley standout Kate Singler joined the Bradley softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2012, after serving as an undergraduate assistant coach in 2011. Singler graduated in May 2012 with a degree in secondary education and was a two-time letterwinner at Bradley (2010 & 2011).

2011 Season (Senior): Was a second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection and a first-team MVC Scholar-Athlete ... Earned First-Team Capital One Academic All-District V honors ... Named to the all-tournament team at the Troy Classic ... Became just the fifth player to lead the team in RBI in back-to-back years, driving in a team-leading 29 runs ... Ranked third on the squad with a .283 batting average and was also third with 24 runs ... Her eight home runs is tied for the second best season total in school history and she finished her career tied for ninth with 12 career dingers ... Had a team-best 14 walks ... The 29 RBI is tied for the ninth best season total in program history ... Is third at BU in career hit by pitch (11) and her career .457 slugging percentage is seventh in school history ... Earned all-tournament honors at the Troy Classic ... Scored or drove in 26 percent of the team's runs in conference play ... Led the team with eight multi-RBI games, including four outings with four three RBI games.
2010 Season (Junior): Led the team in doubles (6), home runs (4), RBI (25) and hit by pitch (7) ... Tied for fourth on the team in runs scored ... Also led the team in slugging percentage (.410) ... Hit .378 with runners in scoring position ... Led the team with 11 two-out RBI ... Started 35 games at catcher and six at designated player ... Owned a team-best nine multi-RBI games and boasted 10 multi-hit games ... Her seven hit by pitch is the second best season total in school history ... Earned all-tournament honors at the season-opening Louisiana Classics, where she hit .429 with five runs scored and five RBI ... Also earned all-tournament honors at the Troy Cox Classic in Las Cruces, N.M., where she was 6-for-15 with three home runs seven RBI and three runs scored ... Ranked second on the team with 13 walks and a .365 on base percentage.
Heartland C.C.: An All-Region 24 selection, she also garnered Region 24 All-Tournament honors ... Hit .358 with 16 doubles, nine home runs and 53 RBI to lead Heartland to the NJCAA Division II National Championship as a sophomore ... Earned second-team all-conference honors in 2009 ... Also took home all-conference honors her freshman season as she helped the Hawks to a third-place finish in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in 2008.
High School: Earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior ... Also lettered in basketball and golf ... Named MVP of the golf team as a senior.
Personal: The daughter of Ronald and Fran Singler, Kate was born in Springfield, Ill. ... Has two siblings: Sarah and Adam ...
