2010 Season (Junior): Provided an experienced bat off the bench ... Both of her hits went for extra-base hits as both fell for doubles ... Played shortstop early in the season, but was used primarily as a pinch runner or at second base later in the season ... Drove in a run with a double against Indiana State.
2009 Season (Sophomore): Appeared in 21 games, making 13 starts ... Hit .333 with runners on base ... Made 11 of her starts at shortstop ... Drove in the first run of the game with a two-out infield single against 25th-ranked Kansas ... Gave Bradley an early 2-0 lead with a two-out, two-run single in the second inning of a 6-0 win against Ohio ... Notched the Braves first hit against 8th-ranked Michigan.
2008 Season (Freshman): Started 19 games at shortstop and two games at second base ... Scored a run in her first collegiate game against Wisconsin and collected her first career hit against UNLV ... Crossed the plate in four of the first six games she played ... Had an RBI double in Bradley's 7-5 win against Wichita State.
High School: A four-year starter ... As a junior she hit .280 with nine runs scored, earning honorable mention Sunflower League honors at third base ... Moved to third base following her sophomore year, playing her first two seasons of varsity softball as the team's starting catcher ... Kelly hit .269 as a sophomore with seven runs scored in 20 games ... The team captain as a senior, she also earned three letters in tennis and was named the tennis team's MVP as a senior.
Personal: The daughter of Steve and Betsy Kelly, Lauren was born April 2, 1989 in Topeka, Kan. ... One of three children, she has one brother, Austin (25), and one sister, Lindsay (14) ... Majoring in graphic design ... Named to the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll in each of her first six semesters.
