Jeff Bolen

Jeff Bolen enters his first season as the pitching coach at Bradley Baseball in 2026 after spending the previous year in the same role at Iowa Western.

Before his time at Iowa Western, Bolen served as the head baseball and pitching coach at St. Charles Community College in the St. Louis area, where he led the program to 144 wins and developed seven All-Region pitchers, 15 Division I arms, and one professional signee with the San Diego Padres. In 2024, he guided SCC to its first-ever MCCAC Conference Championship and the second-most regular season wins in program history. The team also reached the Region 16 Championship game in 2023 for the first time in over two decades.

Bolen’s pitching staffs at SCC set multiple single-season records, including strikeouts, strikeouts per nine innings, strikeout-to-walk ratio, and opponent batting average. He also coached the only two pitchers in program history to surpass 100 career innings.

From 2016 to 2018, Bolen was the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Wabash Valley College. During his tenure, the Warriors ranked among the NJCAA’s top three in ERA, strikeouts, and opponent batting average, won two Region 24 titles, and finished third at the 2017 NJCAA Division I World Series. His staff produced 15 NCAA Division I pitchers and two MLB Draft picks.

Bolen began his collegiate coaching career at Fontbonne University, where his 2015 and 2016 pitching staffs set the school record for strikeouts and produced four All-Conference selections, including one signee with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

A native of Illinois, Bolen holds a master’s degree in education from Fontbonne University and a bachelor’s degree from MacMurray College. He and his wife were married in 2015 and have a daughter, Maia.
