Katie Manning is in her 3rd year as the Coordinator of Academics and Student Services with Bradley Athletics after previously working across campus with the College of Liberal Arts Student Success team as well as providing support to the University’s Honors Program.

Manning provides support services for student-athletes to ensure academic success and appropriate progress toward graduation. She is the primary athletic coordinator for baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country and track and men’s and women’s golf.

As a member of NACDA, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, Katie participated in the NCAA Leadership Academy Workshop (LAW) in Indianapolis in January of 2022. With virtual sessions to follow throughout the spring, the NCAA Leadership Academy Workshop was a four-month commitment allowing participants to engage their cohort and subject matter experts, while learning foundational components to create their leadership development programs. This training led to the creation of the BOLD Institute which Manning oversees. The BOLD (Bradley Outreach and Leadership Develop) Institute was initiated at the beginning of the 2022 school year. The purpose of the BOLD Institute is to enhance student-athletes' leadership skills through education and application of leadership development theory.
