Jennifer Jones was appointed Senior Associate Athletic Director for Academics and Student Development and Senior Woman Administrator in 2016 and is in her 24th year at Bradley University, having previously served as the Associate AD for Academics & Student Welfare, the Associate Director of the Center for Learning Assistance, and the Athletic Academic Coordinator.

Jones aids in the overall administration of the Department of Athletics and oversees all academic support services and student-athlete development initiatives, including the B.O.L.D. for Life program (Bradley Outreach and Leadership Development).  She also serves as the sport administrator for volleyball and women's basketball, in addition to monitoring the academic progress and eligibility of all Bradley student-athletes. She was recently named Bradley's Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee (ADID) and is a trained Title IX investigator for the university.

With Jones directing the academic support efforts since 1999, Bradley has routinely ranked among the national leaders in NCAA graduation rate statistics the last 20+ years, and the Braves have collected numerous scholar All-American, Elite 17 and MVC Scholar-Athlete awards.

Jones is a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) and the Women Leaders in College Sports. She was the recipient of the Bradley University Parents Association Award of Excellence in 2002, the Bradley Soccer team's Betty Shea Service Award in 2006 and Parent's Association Certificates of Merit in both 2007 and 2011.  She was also named to the 2012 InterBusiness Issues “40 Leaders under Forty” list and serves on the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame Committee.  A member of the Missouri Valley Conference's Joint Committee, Jones serves on the Conference Relations and Long-Range Planning Committees, in addition to being the MVC Sport Liaison for Volleyball. 

A Washington, Ill., native, she earned an associate's degree while playing softball at Illinois Central College before continuing her playing career at Saint Louis University, where she earned an honors bachelor's degree in English in 1997 and was named an All-American Scholar.  Jones completed her master's degree in Athletic Administration from Eastern Illinois University and was named the Outstanding Graduate Student in 1998.

Jones and her husband, Jeffrey, reside in Washington and have five children, Collin, Leah, Gavin, Vincent and Nolan.
