Brad Chandler

Brad Chandler, the Deputy Athletics Director, joined the Bradley Athletics staff in June 2021 from Arizona State University where he represented the Sun Devil Department of Athletics in the University Office of General Counsel.

Chandler assists in running the day-to-day operations of the department, leads the revenue generation team, and is the liaison to several key department partners such as Bradley Sports Properties, Learfield Amplify, and Under Armour.  He also oversees several internal units, including the business office and athletics compliance, and is the sport administrator for a number of sport programs.
 
After graduating from Michigan State University in 2008 with his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business, Chandler earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2011.  While pursuing his law degree, he began his college athletics career path by serving first as an intern, then as a graduate assistant, in the Toledo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics compliance office.
 
Prior to his tenure at Arizona State, Chandler worked in the compliance offices for a pair of current Big Ten Conference athletic departments:  The Ohio State University in two stints from 2011-14, and at Rutgers in 2012.  
 

Chandler is a current member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).  He has served as a guest lecturer for several institutions, including Arizona State's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, the Baltimore School of Law, and Madonna University (MI). 


Chandler and his wife, Kara, live in Dunlap, Ill. with their daughter, Waverly.
