PEORIA, Ill. (June 27, 2006) ? The 2006 NBA Draft will be held Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden and two members of the Bradley men's basketball team are hoping to hear their name called.  Sopohomore center Patrick O'Bryant is projected as a first-round selection and senior forward Marcellus Sommerville has been talked about as a possible second-round pick.

To assist the media in its coverage of the Braves, the Bradley Sports Information Office has prepared a Bradley Basketball Tipsheet specific to the annual NBA Draft.  Since Gene Melchiorre was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1951 NBA Draft, 35 former Braves have been selected by 14 teams throughout the years.  Most recently, Anthony Parker was the 21st overall selection by the New Jersey Nets in the first round of the 1997 NBA Draft.
