PEORIA, Ill. -- Junior Lindsay Stalzer (Kewanee, Ill/Kewanee) was a unanimous repeat selection for first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors announced by the league office recently.

Stalzer, a 2003 first-team All-Valley honoree, is the sixth Bradley player to earn first-team all-conference twice in a career, joining Stephanie Behrns, Laura Benzing, Samantha Hardwick, Jenna Passman and Jenny Pavlas. She also joined Benzing as the only Braves to earn first-team All-Valley honors as a sophomore and junior.

Last week she became the third Brave to earn first-team Valley scholar-athlete accolades as a sophomore and junior after leading the MVC in kills (527) and kills per game (4.97). The first Bradley player with a 500 kill season, her 527 kills broke Abigail Kohnen's 1999 school record of 498 kills and tied for the 15th best season total in Valley history.

Lindsay was the only player on the team to play in every game and led the squad in kills, hitting percentage, aces and blocks making her the second player in program history to lead the team in all four statistical categories in the same season. Stalzer became the 11th player in program history to record 1,000 career kills and joined Pavlas, Bradley's all-time kills leader, as the only players in program history with 1,200 career kills by the end of their junior seasons.

Stalzer was the only Bradley player to earn all-conference honors, marking the first time since 1998 that Bradley didn't have two individuals earn first-team All-Valley honors.
