WICHITA, Kan. -- Senior Lindsay Stalzer had a match-high 21 kills, collecting 10 in game three alone, but the 23rd-ranked Wichita State Volleyball team proved too much for Bradley as the Shockers swept the Braves 30-18, 30-20, 30-25, Saturday evening in Wichita, Kan.

The Shockers came out swinging and didn't stop, boasting a .374 hitting percentage on the evening. Wichita State hit .333 or better in each of the three games and limited the Braves to a .118 attack percentage as a team, while also owning advantages in digs (50-36) and blocks (9-1). Bradley fell to 15-15 overall and 8-8 in Missouri Valley Conference play with the loss, while the Shockers improved to 25-2 overall and 16-0 in Valley play.

Stalzer notched her 22nd match of the season with 20 or more kills, finishing the night with a match-high 21. She improved her season kill total to 647 and needs just 21 kills to break the Missouri Valley Conference record for kills in a season which is held by Missouri State's Michelle Witzke (667). Stalzer also improved her career kill total to 1,875 and needs 45 kills to break Witzke's all-time Valley mark of 1,919 kills.

Only two other Bradley players finished the night with more than two kills. Junior Amber DeBroux chipped in with seven kills and hit .357 against the Shockers, while senior Briony Hammet collected six kills and six digs in two games of action.

Senior Ashley Vance recorded a match-high 33 assists to push her season total over 1,000, joining Michelle Pack as the only players in program history to post three seasons with 1,000 or more assists.

Wichita State was led by Jen Ray's 13 kills. Ray also added four blocks and boasted a .579 attack percentage for the Shockers.

Bradley closes out the regular season at home next weekend, when the Braves face Drake (Friday) and Creighton (Saturday) at 7 p.m. at Robertson Memorial Field House.
